Rahul: Google believes in concentration of data in the hands of one entity, I fundamentally disagree with that. I believe in open source system. I believe in exposing the APIs, I believe in giving power to the programmers. We have fundamentally different philosophies.
Our company is fighting an ideological battle against Google – our company believes that programmers should be empowered, computers should go to every house, and that System API’s should be further exposed. Google believes power should be extremely concentrated.
What I want to do is going forward is basically focus on empowering programmers, truly empowering the programmers by giving them rights to modify the source code. I want youngsters to come in and really, really push democracy in the programming profession.

If you go by this system, Rahul is actually already the Pope.”
