Arvind Kejriwal’s much anticipated break from Modi bashing lasted all of two days. The Delhi CM, currently relaxing at a Vipassana Center in Dharamsala, accused his instructor of trying to kill him on the instructions of PM Modi after the latter asked him to hold his breath as part of a deep-breathing exercise.
According to other practitioners who were at the scene, the session was proceeding like any other deep breathing session, with the trainer asking participants to inhale deeply, hold and exhale repeatedly. For the first few minutes, Kejriwal seemed to be quietly following instructions. Then at one point, when the trainer said ‘Hold your breath’, Kejriwal’s eyes suddenly lit up as if an idea occurred to him.
“Are you trying to kill me by forcing me to stop breathing? Are you doing this on the instructions of mastermind Modiji?” he exclaimed. He then jumped up, stared into the eyes of the dumbfounded instructor as if he were addressing someone behind them, and hollered, “I am not scared of you, Modiji! I am ready to make the ultimate sacrifice for this country!”
The terrified trainer stumbled backwards, scrambled out of the room, and fled from the Center, upon which Arvind Kejriwal triumphantly declared, “Modiji is terrified of AAP’s popularity. That’s why his agent ran away from the Vipassana Center!”
Kejriwal’s antics have left the other participants annoyed. “The whole reason I came to the Vipassana center in the first place is because they don’t allow any access to TV, mobile phone, internet, which means I can avoid this guy’s nonsense. How’s this purpose served if he also ends up here and starts doing the same thing?” said an incensed participant who looked anything but peaceful after the meditation session.
Subsequently, a number of participants have approached the Center’s management and placed an ultimatum that it’s either them or Kejriwal at the Center. The management, some of whom are themselves irritated by the Delhi CM, have reportedly indicated that they may ask Kejriwal to leave.
When news about this leaked out to social media, journalist turned idiot politician The Ashutosh tweeted, “Is the Modi so skared of the Kajariwal that he won’t even allow him to mediate pissfully at the Visapanna center? Will the Modi answer?”
